What networking means to me-
For a vast majority of the 4 years I've attended SoPro events I worked for the State of New Jersey Judiciary. "Networking," in the traditional sense, wasn't really possible. I went to the events to catch up with old friends, and hopefully make some new ones. Now that I am in the private sector, I look forward to secretly slipping my business card into your pocket without you noticing.
Favorite part about working in the Greater Atlantic City area-
I was born and raised in Northfield, and I have always resided in Atlantic County. I love living and working in this area because it is big enough to provide entertainment such as the casinos and restaurants in AC, and small enough that you can run into people you know around town.

Favorite SoPro, AC memory-
Definitely the first event I attended in August of 2012 at the Golden Nugget Deck. There were only a few weeks left in my judicial clerkship and I was excited to start the next chapter of my life. Also, there was a great vibe throughout the crowd and everyone seemed excited about participating in SoPro. Sheila Hughes, Mike Gibson, and Mike Salad have all done a great job bringing young professionals together!

What networking means to me-
Networking to me is the best way to meet and know people. I met a lot of new friends at SoPro, we talked and updated to each other our work and personal life when we met every time at SoPro. It’s the best way to explore the professional world around Atlantic area.
Favorite part about working in the Greater Atlantic City area-
AC is kind of my second hometown……I went to school here, I got my job here. Now I am living and working here and I love here! I love the beach and boardwalk. I invite my friends to come and visit me, and they all love to come during the summer. It’s convenient and not far away from big cities, like Philadelphia and NYC.
Favorite SoPro, AC memory-
Everything is wonderful, but the most important memory of SoPro was I won two tickets to Philly game around 3 years ago, I still remember very clearly when my business card was drawn and announced during the event. Very exciting!

Networking is about creating a history. When you have history with people you are more likely to want to do business with them and you'll want them to succeed. SoPro, AC gives the younger professionals of the greater Atlantic City region a chance to write our own history and a chance to steer our own future.
Favorite SoPro, AC Memory-
I had a vision of SoPro, AC about three years before we got off the ground. That vision came to life at The Continental event in February 2013. It’s hard to explain, but all the pieces were working that night. Networking was in high gear. We had enough events that people were starting to have a history with one another and looking forward to catching up with contacts they met at the last event. I also remember we gave a door prize away to the man who soon became my realtor and a great friend…it was a networking win for me!
Networking allows your business to grow. It is the creation and maintenance of relationships through social interaction. Without social interaction your individual business lacks identity. It is your personal identity that makes you unique and sets you apart.
Favorite SoPro, AC Memory-
I think for most of us it is the inaugural event at the pool at Golden Nugget. On that night we knew we had something special. It was like we had captured lightning in a bottle. Although, the event at the Steel Pier was amazing.
Networking is about establishing relationships with people from a broad array of professions and cultivating those relationships over many years and placing people in touch with one another as well as with my clients.
Favorite SoPro, AC Memory-
The inaugural event at the pool at Golden Nugget. We quickly realized how many young people were in the area who were eager to meet one another and the event itself was phenomenal.
